Timing
Apply mehendi 1–2 days before Thursday, 29 October 2026 so it darkens fully for the puja.
Aftercare for dark colour
Let the paste dry and fall off on its own — do not wash it off. Avoid soap for a few hours after, seal with a lemon-sugar dab while it dries, and keep hands warm. Colour deepens over 24–48 hours.
